To meet the needs emerged with distance learning, Egea now offers a new format, which makes available its training content: Digitabook.

Digitabook is a digital book, available online and offline on different devices for a period of 5 years (the offline is now available for desktop, soon it will also be available on mobile).

Digitabook is an ideal product for students, since users have the possibility to combine the main advantages offered by most of the textbook paper versions (highlight, annotate, insert bookmarks) and the digital formats (make screenshots of pages and comment it, add pages to favourites, perform a full text search, access to additional materials). In addition, all the updates made on the offline version through the Digitabook App are immediately available on the online version.

Developing its product, Egea paid particular attention to users with DSA: using Digitabook you can select the background color, font size and type, and the line spacing width.

HOW IT WORKS

Digitabook can be:

* purchased as a single product (only on www.egeaeditore.it)

or

* included while purchasing your textbook in paper format.

1) If you purchase Digitabook as a single product:

- Access MyBook by registering with, or using the same credentials used for the Egea site;

- In “My Purchased Books tab” you will see your book cover: click the icons next to the cover and access its online version. For the offline version it is necessary to download the app from "Download app", choosing it according to the device you use. Digitabook content includes all in-depth analysis or exercises related to the text.

2) If you purchase the Paper+Digitabook Bundle:

- Access MyBook by registering with, or using the same credentials used for the Egea site;

- ON FIRST ACCESS ONLY, enter the code printed inside your book in the "Activation Code" field.

- In “My Purchased Books tab” you will see your book cover: click the icons next to the cover and you will access the online and offline version. By clicking the icons next to the cover, you will access the online version, only. For the offline version you have to download the app from "Download app", choosing it according to the device you use. Digitabook content includes all in-depth analysis or exercises related to the text.

Digitabook can be used in two different ways:

- Online: the platform is optimized for Chrome, but can also use other browsers

- Offline: you need to download Digitabook app for Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android first

The Digitabook app can be downloaded on PC and soon on tablets and smartphones.
